Will martial arts make my child violent?
No way! In fact, martial arts makes kids calmer and more respectful than ever. Martial arts always has been about peace, and it always will be.
Can my child get injured with martial arts?
As a parent, I'm sure you've seen kids can get injured doing just about anything. Martial arts is no different, however we do take safety very seriously here.
Can my child do martial arts if there not the athletic type?
Yes! In fact, martial arts is often a “home” for kids who don't excel at team sports. It's okay if your child is not athletic right now. Through our classes, they'll get in great shape and become very athletic.
Are these martial arts classes fun?
Yes! After all, these are children we're dealing with here. And kids love their fun. We do a variety of games and activities that have kids constantly smiling. We work hard here - but we play just as hard.
Is martial arts a skill that will give my child confidence?
Yes! A lot of kids excel in confidence. The positive feedback children receive helps build their self-esteem and confidence. Kids feel good knowing they can do something that's "cool and special.
What's a good age for a child to start martial arts?
Honestly, practically every age is a good age to start! We have children as young as 4 years old, right though to adults. So no matter where you or your child is on the age spectrum - we've got you covered.
Is martial arts for boys AND girls? Or just boys?
Martial arts are for boys and girls. Our classes have a good mix of both, too. So if you're worried about your girl being alone in a group of boys, wipe that worry from your mind!
How long does it take to become a Black Belt?
There is no firm timetable for achieving a black belt. To earn a black belt depends on the student’s ability and amount of training the student puts in. A good guide is between 3 –5 years
